Auschwitz.  Not long ago.  Not far away.

The most significant site of the Holocaust, Auschwitz was not a single entity, but a complex of 48 concentration and extermination camps, at which 1 million Jews—and tens of thousands of others—were murdered.

We will be taking a guided tour of this groundbreaking exhibition at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, which brings together more than 700 original objects and 400 photographs from over 20 institutions and museums around the world.

Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away. is the most comprehensive exhibition dedicated to the history of Auschwitz and its role in the Holocaust ever presented in North America, and an unparalleled opportunity to confront the singular face of human evil—one that arose not long ago and not far away.

Two ways to Get There:

  1. Complimentary BUS -- Meet at the TBS PARKING LOT by 10:10 a.m. to travel by BUS
  2. Go on your own and meet us in the Museum Lobby at 11:15 a.m.  Address is: 36 Battery Place, NYC.
     

Please note that we have a limit of 40 members for this trip.  Children 6th grade and up are welcome with adult.
